Welcome

Stoke on Trent Boat Building are narrowboat builders committed to the construction of top quality canal boats. We can supply bare shells (we build our own), sailaway, and both standard and bespoke fully fitted craft. We have now built approaching 200 boats so no matter what your requirements we will be pleased to fulfill them. We also offer full boatyard services including rebottoming, refitting, boat lengthening, boat painting, bottom blacking and chandlery.

Standard narrowboats - Etruscan range
Top quality, versatile design and excellent price - these were the criteria for our new range of standard narrowboats. The Etruscan is available from 52ft to a maximum of 62ft. Plus there is a comprehensive list of options available to customise your boat to your particular requirements.

Bespoke Narrowboats
Many of the boats we build are bespoke, catering for customers with specifications outside our Etruscan range. We welcome the challenge of helping design and then building the boat to match your particular requirements. Hulls and layouts can be tailored to meet your demands. From modern sophistication to tug hulls, boatmans cabins and traditional engines we enjoy working with you to provide the boat of your dreams.
